Ukiyo Preschool is a bilingual preschool that follows the Montessori method of education and is taught by teachers who are passionate about children and have many years of experience in the field.
Why is it Ukiyo and not another name? Perhaps you are curious about what it means… Ukiyo has a lovely and profound meaning - living with reality. As we know, children are free, free individuals, always living and feeling the moments of the present, never thinking about the past or worrying about the future. Therefore, children never ignore any vibrations of nature and are always sensitive to everything that happens around them. Children enjoy being bathed in the rain and diligently watching the ants return to their nest. We respect every child's moment. As teachers - guides, we always try to live the way children live, be happy and cherish the moments of the present, try to do the best in the present, love them at present. No matter how young of yesterday or tomorrow, no matter how difficult and busy our lives are - when we come to Ukiyo, we all love and cherish the time we spend together. We (School and Parents) will together nurture at Ukiyo's warm and peaceful home - every day to welcome the little angels.
- Personalized learning to nurture children's potential because each child is unique. Each child is attentively observed and their unique developing program is designed by AMI teachers (teacher certified by the International Montessori Association) to ensure adaptation and interaction with the environment along with the promotion of child growth and development at their own pace.
- Dedicated, professional, and experienced teachers. Our staff is a dedicated team. Not only with expertise but also with keen observation, psychological ability, connection with children, as well as a natural love of working with children. All of our teachers are AMI certified.
- Bilingual environment – preserving Vietnamese culture and giving children access to the world. The multilingual environment with foreigners and Vietnamese teachers who use English-Vietnamese bilingualism, helps children to enhance listening and speaking reflexes and take initiative in communication while preserving the good cultural identity of the Vietnamese people. Students from many countries and cultures will help your child quickly integrate and develop language naturally.
- Rich curriculum following Montessori AMI standards. All 5 main areas that need to be trained according to the Montessori Method of Education were carefully built and tailored to meet both international standards and uniqueness of our own environment.
- Learning through experience helps the child’s growth Ukiyo holds a strong belief that childhood is a critical stage of development for the child to learn and explore their surrounding environments both indoors and outdoors. That’s why we have developed outdoor creative experiences and field trips "Back to Nature" program to help our students in learning.
- The spacious classrooms, from spatial design to interior selection are carefully considered by architects based on psycho-physiological characteristics and needs of children according to each age. Design a harmonious landscape, giving priority to internal and external green spaces, maximizing children's play space.
